| Gratuity is not included
but is appreciated. Guided trips include lunch for full day wading
trips and float trips. Rods, reels, waders and wading staffs will be provided as part of the guided trip. Please
remember to bring any necessary items including medicine, rain jackets, snacks, etc. Guided trips do not include flies,
leaders, fishing licenses or permits. Beginners Welcome! Our
guides are excellent at casting instruction, relaying fishing techniques and teaching basics or stream biology. If
you have ever wanted to try fly fishing and are intimidated, this is where to start. All you need to do is show up.
All gear is provided. Refunds and Cancellations Waynesville
Fly Shop will require a 50% deposit at the time of reservation. Cancellations of seven days or greater will receive
a full refund. Cancellations of less than seven days will require an alternate date of guiding or a forfeit of the
deposit. If conditions on the body of water are dangerous or unfit for fishing the trip will be rescheduled or a refund
of the deposit will be awarded. Please be advised that we do fish if it is raining but not if there is lightning or
thunder.

Recommendations and required gear
|
- The following is a list of required items: Valid North Carolina Fishing License and Trout Stamp
for all individuals over 16 (or cherokee Reservation permits for trophy waters), any medicine that might be required in an
emergency or otherwise, and good walking shoes (if hiking into a stream).
- The
following is a list of recommended items: Raingear, snack or food items, water, sunscreen, bug spray, polarized glasses, hat
or visor (no bright colors please), dark clothing, layered clothing for warmth and comfort (depending on the season), and
a small digital camera.
